New Media & More…
We are passionate about creative solutions, particularly where that intersects with technology. We’ve been involved in a variety of multimedia projects and services for clients.
Timescape
This interactive art installation, created with 2 collaborators, was selected to be one of 6 pieces exhibited in Dublin’s Digital Hub. Each piece marked the transition of a historical building in the viccinity which was due to be developed.
Video footage is the raw material. Sensors, image manipulation, and networking technologies are the creative tools. Using these tools, the movement of viewers (on the street and in the gallery space) become a catalyst for manipulating, collecting, and compiling this footage to generate a final organic print.

Hyperion
Hyperion was an animated generative installation – a triptych of mutually supporting digital environments that also rely on, and react to, sensor-based information received from the real-world environment. In addition to exploring new methods of data visualisation and generative programming techniques, Hyperion was also representative of new global digital biological systems and technologies.
Modelled as individual links in a food chain using a real-world biological marine ecosystem as a behavioural blueprint, the environments of Eos, Selene and Helios formed a circuit reflecting the interdependency of such biological systems. Created with Macromedia Flash and utilising sensor and networking technology, each environment relied on the others for sustenance, in addition to reacting to stimuli received from the installation’s real-world physical environment.

Live Visuals
On number of occasions I’ve collaborated with a poet/thinker/speaker to create a multisensory experience of his work. I created motion graphics on-the-fly in response to his words, along with a DJ who was creating sounds from live- sampled audio.
